L’Oréal’s commitment to DE&I, including gender equity, includes taking a stand and sharing the results with transparency. L’Oréal has been recognised in Bloomberg’s 2022 Gender Equality Index (GEI), a benchmark indicator for the equality policies used by companies around the world. This recognition aligns with the efforts to meet its responsibility and sustainability objectives.
L’Oréal has been proactively committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion for over 20 years. The aim is to create an equal and inclusive work environment where everyone has a place and can thrive, whatever their identity, culture, background or situation. This commitment takes many forms: ensuring gender pay gap since 2007, offering special trainings to women in leadership positions, offering comprehensive support to parents as part of the Share & Care policy and the co-creation of OneWISH and driving equity and inclusion within the health & safety profession both inside and outside of L’Oréal
Equality at L’Oréal by the numbers – as of end of 2021, women made up:

– 59% of Global Brand General Managers
– 55% of key strategic positions
